In ESC101, you were introduced to programming on the terminal. But now it depends on you, to explore the various things you can make by programming. In my case, I code for websites. And among other languages, I prefer PHP the most. Firstly because it is very simple to learn, and once you get introduced, you can start right away. Most of it's code looks exactly as C, and a lot is also similar to perl scripting language, which is also a familiar language for 2nd year CSE students.
